FR-101

OpenAM Technical Overview

1/2 day
This seminar will provide the students with a high level overview of the core OpenAM functionality. The main goal of the seminar is to give delegates an understanding of the functionality core to OpenAM. The seminar is kept short and focuses on the areas that are important during a product evaluation.
The seminar is aimed at IT professionals who are interested in understanding the advantages and functionality of OpenAM as the Single Sign On and Federation infrastructure product.

OpenAM Administration

2 days
This course will provide the students with the required knowledge to administer a deployment of OpenAM. The main goal of the course is to give delegates the skills to administer the core functionality of OpenAM. The course is kept short and goal-oriented, focusing on the functions that are important during a practical deployment.
This course is aimed at implementors and system administrators deploying or managing an installation of OpenAM.

OpenAM Development

3 days
This course will provide students with a detailed introduction to the OpenAM customisation APIs. The main goal of the course is to give delegates an understanding of appropriate OpenAM customisation. The course focuses on the areas that are important during a product deployment.
The course is aimed at system integrators, consultants, architects and Java developers involved in the customisation of OpenAM.

OpenAM Deployment Workshop

4 days
This course will provide the students with the necessary skills to plan, install, configure and administer a OpenAM deployment. The main goal of the course is to give a quick understanding and hands-on experience, so students can perform the most important functions of OpenAM and manage a production deployment.
The course is aimed at system administrators, integrators, consultants, architects and developers installing and configuring OpenAM.

Introduction to Sun IDM

Designed to give all people on a project knowledge and experience with the admininstrative and self service GUI
and a common vocabulary with which to discuss solutions with technical staff.
SIM 201

Introduction to Sun IDM development

5 days - Instructor lead
Designed to give developers on a project practical hands on experience on the admin gui and development tools.
SIM 301

Sun IDM design patterns and best practises

5 days - Instructor lead
Designed for experienced developers who have familiarity with all aspects of Sun IDM. This course focuses on
design patterns and techniques to solve common problems.
Prerequisite is IDM 201 or equivelant experience.
SIM 302

Intragen Framework

2 days - Instructor lead
Designed to make students familar with the functionality available within the Intragen framework.
It guides students through common problems and how these are addressed by the framework.
The course is designed to explain what the framework does and how it works.
The labwork cements the knowledge with practical examples.
SIM 401

Sun IDM internals

5 days- Instructor lead
Designed for experienced developers who have familiarity with all aspects of Sun IDM.
This course focuses on underlying Java within Sun IDM and how to
extend classes and debug internal issues.
