Identity and Access Management Architect / Principal Consultant

We have an excellent opportunity for a proven Identity Management Architect / Consultant to further expand their skills and experience by joining our team and working with our growing portfolio of private and public sector clients.

Existing domain skills and a proven track record of taking a lead role in the delivery of Identity Management solutions are essential, however successful applicants will also be offered additional technology and solution training as part of this role.

Position:  Identity and Access Management Architect / Principal Consultant

 Cambridgeshire/Bedfordshire – Office and customer site with an opportunity for regular home working
FIN: Espoo – Office based and customer site
NL: Houten – Office based and customer site

Salary:  Excellent salary offered, dependent on previous experience

Our requirements for this position

  • Educated to degree level (or equivalent) in Computer Science or an IT related area;
  • Demonstrable experience of taking a lead role in the successful deployment of enterprise Identity Management tools (IBM, Oracle, Dell, CA, SailPoint or similar);
  • A minimum of 5 years experience of architecting, designing, configuring and customising Identity Management solutions to deliver business focused solutions in a technical client facing position;
  • Strong technical awareness across related technologies – e.g. Database platforms (SQL Server, Oracle), LDAP, Active Directory, Web Application Servers, Enterprise Applications;
  • Sound development knowledge – for example J2EE, Java, C++, .NET, Web Services (SOAP/REST/RESTful APIs), Shell programming/scripting or equivalents;
  • Thorough awareness of information security principles & IT/business audit requirements;
  • Sound knowledge of Windows and/or Unix platforms;
  • Knowledge of ITIL and Service Delivery Management;
  • Must be an excellent client facing individual with first class communication skills (both verbal and written) and a track record of successful customer focused delivery;
  • You will be a self-motivated individual who is able to take a pro-active approach to work assignments;
  • Opportunity to travel – this role will be based on client-sites (approximately 20-30%) but will otherwise allow for your time to be home and office based;
  • You should have a strong desire to further your career within the Information Security Sector.

Consultant responsibilities

  • Delivering end-to-end Consultancy services to public and private sector clients;
  • Accountable for the quality of business and technical aspects of Identity Management solutions across multiple customer projects;
  • Working as a member of our team on the implementation of first-class Identity and Access Management solutions that exceed customer expectations;
  • Will be able to manage client relationships and work with the senior management and key stakeholders of our customers to determine business requirements and articulate options for solution delivery;
  • Project based work covers all aspects from initial engagement, through to requirements, analysis, design, implementation and customer training;
  • Will provide leadership and mentoring to colleagues and customers to enable their own skills development in the implementation and support of Identity Management tools;
  • Day-to-day responsibilities will include the design, build, configuration and integration/development of customer solutions utilising leading IAM vendor technologies.
