Leading security consultancy, Intragen, has chosen Stockholm as its new location to position itself in the fast-growing Swedish market.

Kista 7 October 2020. As of spring 2020, Intragen is delighted to announce the launch of its new office in Kista, Sweden. Headquartered in the UK, with branches in the Netherlands and Finland, Intragen is a leading security and Identity and Access Management (IAM) consultancy. Founded in 2006, Intragen has implemented over a hundred solutions across Europe for large multi-national corporations.

Around 30 percent of the Swedish population were exposed to cyber-crime in 2018. This figure had increased by 39 percent from the previous year and continues to increase, with companies looking to improve their corporate security. The market for security solutions is therefore rapidly expanding and Intragen is excited to grow with it to provide expert knowledge and experience to organisations in the Nordic region.

In 2020, Swedish companies are digitalising more and more and are moving to cloud-based platforms to keep pace with the fast-changing technological world. Intragen implements security and IAM solutions to automate and simplify company systems and protect sensitive organisational data from attacks.

Security is a particularly pertinent topic for Sweden in 2020, as the population has been encouraged to continue working from home throughout Autumn. This work-from-home culture is pushing organisations to consider stronger defences as their systems become vulnerable outside the walls of office buildings.

“We already have a number of Swedish customers from key sectors and have seen great demand in the region. We therefore predict high growth in the Swedish market and plan to open offices in other Nordic countries,” commented Samu Harrinvirta, Intragen’s Nordic Regional Director, Finland.

Intragen’s team of over 40 business consultants, analysts and security experts offers security assessments and solutions, working with leading security software vendors including One Identity, Ping Identity, Picus Security, ServiceNow and AT&T.

Lotta von Schantz, Intragen’s Country Manager in Sweden, said: “We are market leaders in providing IAM solutions. Intragen’s office opened this spring to support our existing clients in the regionand meet an increasing demand in the Nordicsworking alongside our teams in Europe.”
