What we learnt at UNITE 2025

Intragen Newsroom

One Identity's UNITE conference has now concluded, after an exciting week in Prague. At the end of March, the Intragen team spent four days meeting clients, partners, and other vendors and learning about the latest trends in Identity security. The team shared their learnings and experiences from the event.

Kurt Beichl, Client Executive at Intragen, described his overall experience at UNITE:

"For me, the UNITE conference offered several different experiences. On the one hand, it was the concentrated and direct contact with the One Identity community, and on the other, it was an opportunity to spend time with my colleagues, including my direct manager, personally."

Paul Cameron, Chief Revenue Officer for Intragen, added:

"[UNITE was] very engaging, very much on-point for what we do and the value we create for our clients, good networking opportunities (existing clients, prospects and One Identity). Interesting content from One Identity and guest speakers."

Our team attended various sessions throughout the event, making the most of the industry expertise on offer. We also held our own session, presented by Intragen's Group CTO, Ciro Guariglia. The session covered the suite of services offered by Intragen across the Identity and Access Management spectrum, as well as our own IntraSuite range of products to enhance One Identity Manager.

Gerlinde Wynands, Client Executive at Intragen, told us:

"Most of the time, I was able to spend time in contact with customers and partners. It was important for me to meet so many of our customers and partners in person to strengthen those relationships. I really enjoyed Ciro's session (of course) and the SAP GRC Framework session from IBS Schreiber."

Kurt also contributed:

"I attended mainly the keynotes and some general overview sessions. What I learnt was that I could transpose information from Ciro’s break-out session into a concrete solution for our clients' problems. This was satisfying and motivating at the same time."

The event was a resounding success, from building those important relationships to expanding our knowledge across Identity security trends and solutions. Our team were exposed to an expanse of new information, enabling them to return to their daily tasks with new ways to benefit our clients and each other.

Paul added:

"I learnt from a Microsoft Security officer just how worried we all should be about Gen AI-based Cyber attacks, and how SafeGuard (PAM) from One Identity really helps European clients address the untold amounts of regulatory legislation coming from NIS2, DORA, ISO etc."

We asked the team to highlight what they saw as the outstanding themes from the event. These defining themes concerned the importance of Identity as the epicentre of an organisation's security strategy. This, coupled with 'Identity Fabric' as a framework by One Identity, only strengthens our resolve that Identity related expertise is vital to wider business success and operations, not just security.

Kurt told us:

"In my opinion, the outstanding theme I heard at UNITE was One Identity's idea of an 'Identity Fabric' as a centralised product family and framework to seamlessly manage and protect any types of identity across complex environments and delivery models. Next to this, I had a few conversations regarding the topic of strengthening the European digital sovereignty and reducing dependence on US corporations."

Paul concluded:

"Identity should be at the heart of every Zero Trust cybersecurity strategy. Also, our Intragen proposition really resonates with what our clients need - expertise is in short supply and we have more of this than anyone. Clients need our help, advice and sometimes just to take the problems away and own them. We aim to practice what we preach based on the knowledge we build up across our myriad of engagements across different industries and regions."

We were delighted to be in attendance at One Identity's UNITE conference this year, and are already eagerly anticipating the next! Will we see you there?
