Why organisations trust Intragen with their IAM maturity

Identity security specialists IAM is our sole focus, not one practice among many. Every recommendation comes from consultants who work exclusively in identity, not a generalist security team.

Independent, not vendor-led We hold top-tier partner status with Okta, One Identity and Palo Alto Networks, but the assessment isn't a sales pitch for any one of them. Recommendations are based on what fits your environment, not a vendor's roadmap.

Proven at scale 180+ successful IAM projects delivered across regulated and complex environments - the same specialists who run this assessment also design and deliver the roadmaps that follow it.

Frequently asked questions

Is the Maturity Assessment free?

No. It's a paid, specialist-led engagement. Choose a Light Assessment for a faster, more focused review, or a Core Assessment for a full current-state and target-state roadmap.

How long does the assessment take?

The Light Assessment typically takes around 4 weeks; the Core Assessment around 8 weeks. Timelines depend on stakeholder availability for the workshops and interviews involved.

What do we actually walk away with?

A Light Assessment gives you a Current State Report: your current IAM maturity levels, a standard gap analysis, and a prioritised top-10 list of recommendations. A Core Assessment goes further: a full gap analysis, plus a target-state view. A vision for where your IAM programme should land, a 3-year roadmap, a detailed plan for year one, and a full list of actions. Both are led by workshops and stakeholder interviews across IGA, PAM and Access Management, scaled to the tier you choose (Core includes additional workshops and interviews with Service Desk, Application Owners and Line Managers, not just top management).

Is this specific to one platform or vendor?

No. The assessment is independent of any specific IAM, IGA or PAM platform. Recommendations are based on your environment and objectives, not a product roadmap.

Who conducts the assessment?

Intragen's identity specialists, the same consultants who deliver our advisory and implementation work, not a sales representative.

Do we need to already be an Intragen customer?

No, the Maturity Assessment is open to all businesses, regardless of any prior relationship with Intragen.

What happens after the assessment?

The final report is handed over in an interactive workshop with your team, where the findings, priorities and follow-up actions are discussed and agreed together. It isn't just a document dropped in your inbox. That's the point at which the engagement is considered complete.

How is this different from the PAM Quick Check?

The PAM Quick Check is a free, two-hour session scoped specifically to privileged access risk. The Maturity Assessment is a paid, considerably deeper engagement spanning Identity Governance, Privileged Access Management and Access Management together, producing a full current-state and (for the Core tier) target-state roadmap. This is not a competing offer, just a different depth of commitment.
